"Discipleship is learning from the One who called us to join Him on this journey; called us to learn, on this journey, how to live life in the Kingdom and seek ‘his righteousness’ (Matt. 6:33) as the priority in life.” (Malan Nel, 2017)

Discipleship is the lifeblood that informs each believer, young and not-so-young, what the Christian life looks like.  At Christ Central Church, it is our aim to come alongside parents to be a partnering resource as they journey with their youth and young adults. We do this in a variety of ways, weekly and monthly hangouts, monthly gender-based Bible studies, yearly retreats and trips, and year-long discipleship trainings to engage the real world for real life. For more information on our youth ministry, or to volunteer to be part of our youth ministry, email Justin Jordan.

Monthly youth hangouts

One Saturday of each month we get together for our monthly hangout. We’ve had scavenger hunts and pool parties, played kickball, went to the movies, Hornets games, concerts, participated in community service, and much, much more. It’s always a great time and opportunity to grow closer together.

Annual Youth retreats

Every year we schedule a youth retreat to bond, build lasting relationships, and to grow closer to God. The youth have a wonderful experience and learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
