LIFE AT CHRIST CENTRAL CHURCH

Fall Back, Gather IN

New Meet & Greet, starting this Sunday!

Join us in the lobby from 10:15-10:30 AM for coffee, refreshments, and intentional time to connect with one another before the service begins.

Transition to Worship: At 10:30 AM, the sanctuary doors will open and greeters will be on hand to welcome you. We believe these changes will create a richer experience for everyone.

We can't wait to worship with you in this new format starting 10:15 am!

ServSafe Certification

We need volunteers for ServSafe certification. This certification helps our church and community ensure food safety during Potluck events. We can provide information on how to get certified and support you. The training is online, and we will cover the cost. If you are already certified or want to volunteer to get certified, please contact the Deacons.

WEbsite UpDates

You may notice a redesigned Worship Guide and Life of Christ Central page, along with incremental updates to Church Center. We've made these updates to make these tools more readable and easier to navigate with improved menus and search functionality.

Have questions or suggestions? Please reach out to the communications team.

Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study

Register here to join us Wednesday mornings at 10-11:30 am as we explore God's story. We’ll discuss scripture, The God Story by Alain Emerson and Adam Cox, and engage in Lectio Divina. Books are available in the foyer for a $15 donation. Infants are welcome, and childcare is provided—please register before Sept 4th for staff coverage. Coffee and tea will be served. For questions, contact LeVan McLain.

Leadership in God’s Church

Come join us from 9 - 10:15 AM as we discuss what leadership is meant to look like in God's church overall, as well as the specific elements of leadership at Christ Central and in the Presbyterian Church in America. Everyone at CCC is invited to join the class and view materials led by Pastor Tony Myles.

Heart Math Tutoring

Join over 12 Christ Central members to help CMS students through Heart Math Tutoring for just one hour a week. Students are excited to have volunteer tutors for the 2024/25 school year! HMT provides training and support for volunteers to work one-on-one with elementary students to improve math skills, like counting and adding to 10, while boosting their confidence. Volunteers follow a straightforward curriculum with hands-on activities and games, working with the same student all year to build a relationship and strengthen skills. Sign up to volunteer and choose your preferred day and time. If you have questions, contact Rebecca Presnell.

CCC HURRICANE RELIEF TEAMS

Volunteers ages 14+ are needed for hurricane relief in North Carolina on Saturdays: November 2, 9, 16, and 23.

Help organizations like Samaritan's Purse and Baptist on Mission.

Arrive at CCC by 7:45 AM, leave at 8:00 AM, return between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. When signing up, indicate your available dates, skills, and job preferences.

For inquiries or to sign up, contact Tom Bastian.
