Our Outreach and Engagement Ministry creates meaningful opportunities for you to share Christ’s love both locally in Charlotte and around the world. When we serve together, give generously, pray faithfully, and learn from our community partners, we discover the beautiful diversity God intended for His people.
Local Impact & Global Reach Whether your heart is drawn to supporting Charlotte nonprofits or joining overseas missions, we're here to support your calling. Those looking for financial support can apply for annual grants up to $500 to fuel their outreach efforts by reviewing the Outreach and Engagement Team Mission and Guiding Principles and submitting the appropriate forms. Our team will respond within 30-60 days.
Thoughtfully Designed for Maximum Impact Our approach isn't random—it's the result of a year-long journey in 2023 where we prayerfully discerned God's direction for our outreach efforts. Through scripture study, community research, congregational input, and careful planning, we've aligned our mission with Christ Central's vision to help people flourish together. Check out the Goals and Theory of Cultural Engagement.
Your Next Step Starts Here We're always looking for more hands, hearts, and resources to join this important work! Connect with our Lead AQesha Ritzie-Spinks to discover how your unique gifts can make an eternal difference.
Ready to serve? Reach out today and let's explore how you can be part of something bigger than yourself. The Outreach and Engagement Ministry provides opportunities for the Christ Central family to engage the world with the renewed dignity that comes from Christ. We do this by partnering with local and global ministries to fulfill their missions, which free people to enjoy God, hear His truth and love one another well. Through serving together, giving towards financial needs, praying for and learning from our partners and the communities they serve, we grow in diverse community that can flourish together.
